Sri and I started Growthstore.xyz to share our knowledge and experiences from —learning by doing—at companies like Freshworks and Google, building successful products, finding a market fit, and scaling them.
We want to give back to the startup community and help other founders grow and succeed.Â
Whether you're just starting up or looking to take your business to the next level, we hope our insights can help you grow and thrive.Â
We're excited to share all that we've learned with you and hope to be a valuable resource as you navigate the exciting world of startups.
Now, why Growthstore.xyz?
We've had the privilege of being a part of Freshworks' incredible journey from a small startup to a successful $500M SaaS business 🚀
It's been a fantastic experience. We've seen the power of consistent effort and the snowball effect of closing one deal after another for nearly a decade.
It's been quite a journey, and I can tell you, it's been quite a ride 🤯
The inside sales team at Freshworks stood out to us with their hustle, determination, and ability to drive revenue 💰 It's fascinating to see how small purchases like $19, $29, and $49 can add up to a significant portion of a company's revenue and how a product-led growth strategy can lead to such success 🔥🚀
But unfortunately, not all businesses have access to these resources 💔
Recently, I chatted with a small business owner who creates and sells one-of-a-kind memorabilia doodles. Even though he already had a successful business, he had bigger aspirations of turning it into a lifestyle store. When I asked what was holding him back, he replied without hesitation, "I'm dying to take my business to the next level." It was about more than money or support but about acquiring more customers. He had invested in a social media agency but needed to see the desired results. But I showed him how a minor tweak like utilizing Instagram advertising and implementing a bot for both WhatsApp and Instagram could bring about a considerable increase in sales. To his surprise, it worked, and his end-of-the-year sales were way higher than he had ever imagined. 🤩
Fast forward a few weeks, and Sri and I spoke at a startup event about branding and product-led growth. The audience's interest and excitement during our sessions confirmed that our learnings and insights could be of value to others. We couldn't stop thinking about our sessions' impact on the audience. Many founders reached out to us, wanting us to share our mistakes, our fair share of good luck, and our success stories. 💡
But this small win is just the tip of the iceberg. We know there are countless more small business owners and startup founders out there who need help to scale their businesses.
That was the moment on that flight —we planted the seed for "The Growth Store." 🌱
The old saying goes, "No one ever became poor by giving."
We decided to give back and share what we had learned. That's why we started the Growth Store community —where startup founders, product managers, marketers, and designers can learn from each other and grow their businesses.
By sharing our learnings and insights, we hope to contribute to the success of others in the community.
Let's democratize growth ideas and make them happen together. 🚀
Our commitment: Make giving a habit, and how?
We wanted to share our commitment to making giving back a habit.Â
We've been active in the SaaS and startup industry for some time and should share more of our knowledge and experiences with the community.
We know we've been too comfortable in our little bubbles, and it's time to break out of them. That's why we're starting growthstore.xyz - it's our way of stepping out of our comfort zones, embracing the unknown, and getting the community's perspective on growth and success.
We envision growthstore.xyz as a thriving community where people can come to read about our experiences, share their own growth stories, and grow together.Â
Because growth is not a one-trick pony —it takes a village.Â
Let's democratize growth ideas and make them happen together 💡
Why .xyz? The Meaning Behind Our TLD
We tried to buy a lot of TLDs starting with .ai (obviously, there is no machine learning to grow), but .com wasn't available; .in would have suggested it's only for India, and .co because we aren't commercial - yet! But .xyz was open, and we said, "Why not?"Â
At Growthstore.xyz, we're a community for startup founders, small-business owners, product managers, marketers, and designers. We empower them to achieve their wildest growth goals by sharing real-life experiences, mistakes, and hacks.Â
Through our stories and lessons learned, we're hoping to provide the knowledge and tools needed to make growth happen 🚀

So. Let's go. Let's talk about stories.
1. First up - Great logo. Awesome name. Great color palette for the site with gold and yellow.
2. Great TLD - .xyz and you have different colors for each letter, not meant for only certain type of startups but meant for every creator/founder, big or small, irrespective of their nature of business, can benefit from the growth hacks. I like it a lot.
3. Loved the apt ideas of
- Giving back - No one became poor by giving
- Democratize growth ideas - make them happen together
Awaiting next installments and eager to see where you will take this. All the very best guys.
Awesome. Looking forward to read your insights.
